About the works
The project forms part of the Stansted Airport North Side Phase 1 improvements. It is intended to increase junction capacity, improve safety and help reduce congestion and queuing, while supporting planned growth around the airport.
Birchanger Roundabout
Proposed improvements to the roundabout at M11 Junction 8 and its approaches.
Priory Wood Roundabout
Proposed improvements to the junction serving the A120 / Thremhall Avenue and Round Coppice Road.
The two locations are expected to be worked on at the same time.
Scope of works
